Yesterday, my 8yr old cat Sammy was diagnosed with mesenteric lymphosarcoma. This came over a month of vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, and a 2.5 lbs
weight loss. We had been on and off prednisone for a month combined with pain medication before the vet gave us this diagnosis.
The ultrasound shows several large masses inside his stomach and intestines. His liver and kidney levels and appearance suggest the beginnings of failure. His pancreas is also showing signs of wear.
I am at an impass at to what to do now. Sammy had never been sick until last summer when he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and made a full recovery. I have been doing sooooo much research online and am quite overwhelmed. I cannot decide whether or not to go through with chemotherapy. Honestly, I cannot afford the expense, but I want to do what's best for my little guy.
I know that many of you have dealt with lymphoma or lymphosarcoma. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

feel not knowing the reasons for illness is even worse the getting a bad result.someone here may have athought on your baby's problem.
