The vet I take my cats to however, doesn't agree with me. He said he will continue to immunize his pets, both cats and dogs on a yearly basis. He did agree with my thoughts on the whole thing though. He said that there is a blood test he can do next year (when it is time for Cole's yearly vaccines) that will test the levels of antibodies in his system. He said if the levels are good - he would agree to not give him his annual shots.
What have you heard on this subject? Also, is it absolutely necessary for the kittens to have 3 different trips to the vet (at various ages) for their baby shots?
