Hi, all!
In the 1990's, I was raising active, healthy and happy pets, but now, in the 2000's, I'm taking care of elderly, ailing and dying pets. :-(
However, I'm being confounded with a situation.
Eevery time one of my pets pass away (I've lost 2 dogs and 4 cats so far), I end up with quite a few meds with plenty of unused portions that I can't
bear to toss. In the past, I've had to toss some due to expiration dates, but I don't want to anymore. They can be so expensive. I would be so happy if
a needy pet owner or a shelter could use unused portions of my pets' meds.
Is there any place in the world that accepts donated unused portions of meds for pets? Any information would be so appreciated.
Thank you!

Patty to the Forums. This is a
they have scheme for humans in Oz that you take unwanted meds to any chemist and they send them to Africa. My little animal welfare group here often
gets donation like this,I take them to our vet and when needed our vet uses then for our animals in care, saving us money. It is a waste otherwise and I think a
nice tribute to pets that have passed.
