I looked out to see if she was still across the road but by now she was actually trotting across the road to come home.
Except, there was a van speeding down the road ... she didn't have a chance - she was hit by the left hand front wheel & was flipped over and hit by the right hand front wheel. I just couldn't belive what I was seeing ... I ran out to her but she was bleeding badly out of her mouth and just gasped. I picked her up and rang the vets who said to bring her straight in. Sadly she was gone by then.
What's really weird is that it happened 11 weeks almost exactly to the minute since Max died. I just hope that she's been reunited with her big 'brother' that she loved so much.
Our house will not be the same - she was the most vocal kitty I have known even with the other cats - she was always meowing & chirping at them.

. Try to take comfort in the
fact they are reunited again. I am so very sorry you had to witness it. Try over time to remember the good times, you had, and not the end.
