I've noticed on occasion that whenever other cats are fighting outside and Xena hears them, she tends to act aggressively toward me. Loud, and I mean LOUD yowling if I even approach her within a couple hours of the incident. This has only happened 3 or 4 times in the past several years, but I was curious as to if anyone else's cats behave in a similar manner.
Xena, for whatever reasons, was always more aggressive than other cats. She was given to me when she was six weeks old because she was running around terrorizing full grown cats, and she has never been properly socialized because she seems to be uncomfortable around other people. She occasionally peeks out at visitors... once she even walked up to the girl I was dating at the time and meowed at her, but generally, she doesn't seem to like people at all. When I walk in the door, if someone follows me in, she scampers back to the bedroom, straight under the bed. Strange behavior for a cat that always waits by the door to greet me when I'm arriving home.
