hey i just read the featured breed article in cat fancy on bengals... here they mention that bengals are naturally immune to feline leukemia! is this true? if anyone knows anything on this please post it here... i will try to do some research on this when i have time.-Amy

			<description><![CDATA[ Amy, this is totally incorrect. I have several friends who have both FIV+ (Feline Aids) and FeLV+ Bengals.<br>

The Bengal breed was derived from breeding an Asian Leopard (which is a wild cat) to a domesticated cat. All cats are descended from a small wild cat, anyway, so a wild cat gives no special immunity to a domesticated cat. <br>
