Yesterday, I happened upon a thread about an injured feral, and trapping it for treatment. That got me to looking more around, and I found the link to information about TNR. I did research and could not find a program in my area that did this. However, I did find a program that deals in preventing animal cruelty. I figured I'd give it a shot...

Monkey and I just got back from the vet and received some bad news. X-Rays show that it is very likely the wheezy cough Monkey has had since her kittenhood is not hairballs (like her previous vet has insisted on each visit), but asthma. Her diaphram is flatter than it should be and she appears to have little doughnut shaped things in her lungs. The new vet says her lungs also sound a bit too noisy to be normal, but the X-Rays go to a specialist for confirmation tomorrow. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON...

It seems that a lot of the better brands (Wellness, etc) have a lite food and not a senior formula while over-commercialized brands (such as Iams) have both.
