Nelly is always immediately aware when I take any cruciferous (cabbage family) veggies out. Tonight I'm making collard greens for dinner, so of course her interest was high.

I gave her a stem and she carried it off to her dog bed. Nelly is obsessed with them, which is funny since I'd done a lot of introducing her to chickens down the street from us in preparation for this and after the first time or two she wasn't particularly interested in them anymore.
