The following article is about a proposal to ban declawing which appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle and on their website www.sfgate.com My cat advocate friends tell me that not one single San Francisco vet has the balls to endorse the ban! The once progressive SF SPCA is also against the ban! So is the California Veterinary Association. This is appalling!

Last week was a bit drama filled on several fronts, work and home, including a frightening episode with my cat, Tigger. I would've posted this earlier, but this weekend was also my home board's annual meet up, in my home town too. Never ends, does it. Fortunately the Tigger incident, while a miserable couple of hours, ended happily.
